Job Description

• We are proud and excited to partner with a well-renowned private international secondary school to recruit a Facility Manager based in Kaduna South.
• The Facility Manager role is to lead the maintenance function by providing a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure at the schools.
• Responsible for overseeing all installations, repairs and upkeep operations of the schools' facilities, to ensure that our students and your colleagues have the best physical resources to complete their work/duties.
• Your duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures, including Implementing and managing continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes as required

Requirements
Whom we are looking for:

• Having a High School Diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or B.Sc / BA in Business Administration or Facility Management will be an advantage
• Must have at least 5 years experience
• We are looking for a rounded Facility Manager with a solid understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry and other crafts.
• You have proven experience as a maintenance manager and expertise in planning maintenance operations.
• You have excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• You have the ability to undertake administrative reporting and budgeting tasks.
• You are well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations.
