Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Manage business development for the Laboratory and Diagnostic Center
  • Ensure new deals are closed and spearhead revenue growth
  • Develop business plans focused on company growth and forecasting sales targets and growth projections
  • Conduct researches to identify new markets and customers' needs
  • Build healthy relationships with prospective clients and maintain relationships with current clients
  • Create sales contracts that align with existing laws and principles
  • Manage new marketing initiatives
  • requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch Laboratory and Diagnostic services
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
  • Support deal structure and pricing with business-value analysis, and negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients
  • Strategize on improving business operations
  • Attending events such as exhibitions, conferences and seminars when necessary
  • Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies
  • Preparing financial projections and sales targets
  • Producing reports for management

Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND in Marketing or related fields.
  • 3 - 7 years as a Business Development Manager in a Laboratory and Diagnostic Center
  • Must have worked in a managerial and supervisory capacity
  • Must have strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent Sales track record.
  • Communication & problem-solving skills.
