We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Special Needs / Learning Support Teacher

Location: Abijo (Lekki), Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Developing programmes of learning activities
• Planning, preparing, and researching lessons
• Preparing and adapting teaching materials
• Making use of special facilities and/or equipment
• Contact and teaching time with students on an individual, class or small group basis
• Liaising with parents, external agencies and a range of other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and educational psychologists

Requirements

• A good university Degree in Special Educational Needs from a reputable higher institution.
• Minimum of 2 years cognate experience. Previous experience in a school will be highly regarded.
• Intuitive, Child friendliness and pleasant disposition.
• Professional qualification - PGD and TRCN
• Must have a QTS.
• Great understanding of IEP development.
