Stem Child Care Academy believes that digital disruption will definitely change future job specification, while some job will go completely extinct, some new jobs will be created especially in science and technology. That is why we strive in our school to expose children to endless possibilities of STEM education (robotics, AI, coding, etc.). We are making children to be computational thinkers, digital content creators and innovative designers. Our school offer mix blend of Nigerian and British contents to take care of the traditional learning. Children are also exposed to learning international languages. Therefore, with our broad spectrum curriculum that emphasis on STEM education, we train children to become computational thinkers, digital citizens, innovators and global leaders in science and technology.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: School Cleaner

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role

• Cleaning certain parts of the school site
• Vacuuming carpeted areas and washing floors
• Sweeping uncarpeted areas
• Emptying and cleaning bins
• Spot cleaning of spillages
• Cleaning desks, seats and skirting boards
• Cleaning toilet areas and replenishing toiletries
• Cleaning doors and windows
• Checking stock levels of cleaning materials
• Reporting all defects/hazards immediately to the caretaker or supervisor

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a First School Leaving Certificate or SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with at least 1 year experience.
• A reasonable level of fitness
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
• Able to manage time effectively
• Ability to work both alone and in a team
• Awareness of health and safety procedures
• Reading skills for following instructions
• Maths skills for measuring cleaning fluids
