Job Summary

• We are a business based in Ikeja currently looking to hire a proactive and creative Marketing/Social Media Officer to join our team. As a Marketing/Social Media Officer, you will be responsible for promoting the services we offer all the relevant social media platforms coupled with the ability to market and close sales.

Job Description

• Design and Implement Social Media Strategy to align with business goals;
• Create & Manage Social Media Campaigns & Pages;
• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics;
• Oversee social media accounts design e.g. Facebook
• Create & Implement Marketing Strategies for the media platforms
• Actively owning the specific brand being managed and drive performance KPIs;
• Attending Events (Where Applicable)
• Planning, scheduling and publishing content
• Community management and community building
• Monitoring responses, hashtags and topics
• Working with the data teams to produce reports etc

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 year’s professional experience;
• Must be proficient in utilizing the various media platforms
• Be creative and have the ability to use one’s initiative
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Must be an excellent team player

Job Requirements:

• Experience of using social technology, social platforms and content publishing;
• Working knowledge of brand strategy and content frameworks;
• A good understanding of social media crisis management;
• Knowledge of Marketing Principles & Techniques;
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a large organization and across teams
• Ability to drive traffic to the various media platforms
