We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position below:
Job Title: Commercial Legal Manager
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence in structuring of deals relating to commercial transactions.
- Direct, advise and monitor interconnection agreements.
- Proactive prevention of litigation and direct litigation when required.
- Draft and advise on company contracts relating to supplier agreements.
- Assist in Managing litigations and disputes.
- Develop and structure contractual framework.
- Settle legal relationship between MTN and 3rd parties.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Barrister at Law (LLB) and Bachelor of Laws (BL).
- Minimum of 8 years post qualification experience, including at least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
- Minimum of 5 years litigation experience and 3 years in-house Corporate Law experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- Experience in handling and negotiating diverse legal transactions.
- In depth experience and understanding of the Nigerian legal and telecommunications regulatory framework.
