Job Description

• We are looking to hire an experienced Social media manager or social media marketing intern to manage our company and client's social media presence, promote the brand, and announce/sell services and products on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok.
• The SMM will be responsible for specific functions which include publishing posts to accounts on a day-to-day basis, reaching new customers and clients, announcing new products or services, and overseeing social media strategy.
• Job role is for experienced or capable social media (marketing) manager resident in any of the five Southeast States: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo.

Responsibilities

• Oversee company and clients' overall social media strategy.
• Work with design programmes to create and publish social media posts.
• Monitor social media metrics to optimize future performance.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends in sports (rugby is very important), news, and business.
• Publish daily posts for publicity & promotions, marketing, informative and interactive purposes.
• Sell company's and clients'services and products to consumers, clients, and customers on social media.
• Maintain a solid online presence across company and client accounts.
• Understand and manage company/clients' brands on social media.
• Responding to comments on each of our accounts.
• Respond to and engage social media users

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 1 - 2 years work experience.
• Social media marketing experience/ability
• Understanding of graphic design principles.
• Ability to develop social media strategies.
• Ability to engage in sports, news and media space
• Ability to work with and develop a marketing plan.
• Ability to develop and maintain theright voice for each account and platform
• Proven ability to build social media communities.
• Ability to measure the success of campaigns.
• Ability to read and analyse social media analytics.

Qualities:

• Proficient in written and spoken English (the ability to speak and write in Igbo is a huge plus).
• Ability to use any or most creative design programmes like Canva, Adobe Express, GoDaddy Studio, Corel Draw, Photoshop, etc.,
• Proficient and active user of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.,
• Knowledge and application of Analytics for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok
• Ability to develop marketing and advertising copies for social media marketing
• Understanding of sales and lead conversion

Salary
N40,000 - N50,000 monthly
