Pistachio Foods Limited (RSVP Restaurant), a fine-dining restaurant situated at Victoria Island, Lagos State, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hostess

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Taking of reservations.
• Escorting guests to their tables and assist them in seating by pulling out their seats.
• Ensure Table distribution is spread out when reserving tables at the same time
• Be able to give clear and concise directions to guests.
• Clearly understand any guest request or complaints that arise and pass them on to the headwaiter and floor manager when necessary
• Ensure that staff noise levels are always at a minimum
• Ensure that waiters are in their positions and that clustering is not permissible
• Prepare set menus based on management guidelines and communicate offers with guests
• Be responsible for guests mailing list and reply to requests and queries based on guidelines set by management.
• Assist floor manager in daily checklists and duties and ensure that all SOPs are followed before each shift.

Person Specification

• Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma in Hospitality, social-sciences, and relevant discipline.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience as a Hostess, Receptionist or Front Desk
• Prior experience working in 5-star hotels, Fine Dining Restaurant will be an added advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good Interpersonal skills.
• Must be computer literate
• Be knowledgeable with food and drinks.
