Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
What you will do as a Junior Architect (Data Centres)

  • Prepare/assist with Inception reports, concept schematic drawings and architectural packages to support Senior Design Architect.
  • Prepare/assist with reports, technical drawings and architectural specifications and tender documentation
  • Measuring and compiling of as built information
  • Perform site inspections and attend meetings
  • Perform research and investigations
  • Provide technical and administrative support with preparation of bid submissions
  • Assist with components of architectural tasks inherent to the building’s projects on Revit.
  • Ensure that all quality system procedures are followed in the production and issuing of designs, costing, drawings and standard details
  • Regular contact and communication with the Project Architect.

Requirements
What you bring:

  • B.Sc Degree in Architecture
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience
  • Eligible to register as a Candidate Professional Technologist / Candidate Professional Architect with ARCON
  • High level of computer literacy (MS Office including advanced Excel skills)
  • Revit Advanced level
  • BIM
  • AutoCAD
  • MS office suite
  • MS PowerPoint
  • Rendering Software (Lumion or 3dStudioMax)
  • Accurate and detail orientated
  • Able to meet deadlines and handle pressure
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Strong analytical focus
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills and time management (plan and priorities)
  • Digital aptitude
  • Early adopter in software usage
  • Ability to take Initiative.

  • You will become part of our global Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team, who provide a multidisciplinary package of consultancy services for our data center clients. We provide strategic, tactical, and operational advice to our clients, including colocation datacentres, internet service providers, and telecom companies.
  • Our team consists of colleagues with all kinds of different expertise. For example, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology. Together we use our knowledge and expertise to develop integrated designs for Data Centres.  
  • You will join a leading market and work with a dedicated and passionate team ranked as one of the best Data Centre design & engineering teams globally. You will join the Industry & Buildings Advisory Group, which forms part of our Business Line in Nigeria. You will be based at our Lagos office.
