Job Title: Hotel Operations Manager

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description
You’ll be Great if:

  • You lead by example with a ‘hands-on’ approach to hotel delivery and coaching other operational team members to deliver the highest standards of service.
  • You have the ability to manage and motivate teams without compromising on the quality of guest service.
  • You oversee the quality process to ensure customer satisfaction by consistent delivery of both product quality and service.
  • You monitor property condition, cleanliness, cost control, and quality of product and service throughout hotel
  • You operationally support all departments as needed and you manage any incidents or accidents involving guests or staff members.
  • You proactively identify and address any weaknesses in information dissemination between teams.
  • You meet and greet VIP guests, and be their first point of call when required throughout their stay.
  • You ensure guest satisfaction when handling complaints and coming up with solutions, analyzing and replying to guest’s feedback and oversee the hotel’s quality performance.
  • You enjoy leading a team, going the extra mile to ensure excellence and hotel policies and standards are adhered to
  • You manage the daily operations of the hotel ensuring that the team deliver great hospitality in a warm and friendly environment.
  • You lead and develop an energetic workforce, having involvement in recruitment, learning and development, employee relations issue and team engagement initiatives.
  • You plan and implement the delivery of service for all operational departments to meet and exceed guest expectations.
  • You ensure hotel employees highly values team spirit and operates on a rotating duties approach
  • You lead and motivate employees in providing day to day leadership and direction and drive sales and profitability forward.

The Person

  • Minimum of HND / B.Sc.
  • At least 2+ years experience working in related role and in a 4-Star property.
  • minimum of one year experience to join their team.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment.
  • Someone hardworking, trustworthy & genuine.
  • Accountable and resilient.
