Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

Job Description

• Aid managerial planning and commercial decision-making tasks by providing appropriate financial information and undertaking related accounts administration.
• Monitor all financial data and prepare accurate statements for the company.

Management Accounting:

• Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements
• Undertaking financial administration and internal audits including that of sales and stock.
• Liaising with managerial staff, other colleagues and subordinates
• Developing and managing financial systems/policies
• Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
• Creating business strategies to generate shareholder value.

Financial Accounting:

• Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
• Forecast costs and revenues
• Manage tax payments
• Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
• Analyze financial trends
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes

Job Requirements

• Must hold a B.Sc or Higher National Diploma in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• Must have previous experience of using sage software.
• Previous experience of working in similar role.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
