Job Title: Quality Control Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• Quality control officers make sure completed work and/or work in progress meets the requirements of the plans and specifications.
• Ensuring products meet quality and efficiency standards set by the company. In particular to review product quality requirements for projects, to ensure those requirements are understood and implemented to manage the pre-determined quality to meet the requirements of the specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist in maintaining quality control procedures on sites.
• Checking the Project team by ensuring all reports are entered and submitted
• Ensuring all checklists and drawings are distributed to various Supervisors
• Work with senior managers to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality;
• Note and report on work that does not meet requirements;
• Monitor overall construction performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements;
• Inspect completed work and/or work in progress to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements;
• Interpret and review shop drawings;

Requirements

• Interested candidate should possess an HND, B.Arch, B.Eng, BSc, M.Arch, MBA or MSc with 3 - 7 years work experience.
