Job Description
- We are looking for a qualified Carpenter to cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications.
- Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products
Responsibilities
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp the requirements
- Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
- Cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurement
- Assembling the piece and affixing parts together.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma. Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter.
- Additional certification like a trade test may be required
- An analytical mind for problem-solving
- The ability to work alone or as part of a small team
- Ability to follow instructions closely
- Attention to detail.
