We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Functions

  • As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining cordial relationships with clients, identifying sales leads and generating prospective clients, as well as working with other teams to achieve the company’s strategic goals.

Specific Job Functions Include

  • Conduct research to identify new market and client needs
  • Devise a plan focused on financial growth and customer satisfaction
  • Develop strategic goals for the business development team and see them through to execution
  • Work with the team to provide solutions to clients’ needs
  • Promote the company’s services and communicate new product development to prospective clients
  • Prepare contracts, proposals, quotes, invoices, and other documents in line with established rules and guidelines
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of clients including onboarding, project updates, contract addendums, renewals, payments, etc.
  • Oversee the development of Marketing literature
  • Travel to meet clients for pitches, meetings, and other discussions
  • Attend conferences, seminars, workshops, and industry events
  • Build long term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Prepare reports of leads and customer feedback
  • Keep proper records of revenues, invoices, clients etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Sales or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Business Developer, Sales Executive, or related roles in a creative or communications environment.
  • Industry knowledge & Commercial awareness
  • Knowledge of CRM tools
  • Excellent Leadership skills
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Project Management
