We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supply Chain Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Role

  • The role will be responsible for communicating with the clients on the status of their orders placed, developing, and implementing effective processes and planning all aspects of logistics operations including inbound/outbound logistics.

Job Description

  • Managing the end-to-end supply chain process including vendor management, client management, procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics and distribution.
  • Developing and implementing effective order processing and management systems.
  • Selecting, monitoring, and managing the performance of vendors.
  • Participating in strategic supply chain enhancements/ projects to drive optimal delivery efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Planning all aspects of logistics operations including inbound/outbound logistics through the sea, road and air, shipping, and customs clearance.
  • Coordinating and engaging with vendors to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Ensuring effective and efficient warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders (Sales, Procurement, and Pricing), clients, and suppliers and ensuring a seamless supply of orders to and from to the client’s facility.
  • Creation of invoicing and waybills for client order delivery.
  • Communicating with the clients on the status of their orders placed.
  • Any other assigned tasks by the line manager

Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND degree in Supply Chain Management or any related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Transport and Logistics or Warehouse and distribution.
  • Highly goal driven and work well in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages
  • Enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
  • Proficiency in accounting/inventory Software (Sage, Zoho, etc).
