We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Lead

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • In this role, you are to ensure that production processes run efficiently by planning, coordinating, controlling, and leading the production team.
  • The individual will be responsible for cutting (with the pattern maker) & performing quality control across all production phases.
  • You will be required to work closely with the designer and supervise pattern makers, tailors, and finishers to achieve desired results and exceed clients' expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for improving production timelines.
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the production team.
  • Supervise production team and processes involving pattern making, quality control, cutting, sewing, and finishing.
  • Advise management on specialized machinery.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies for seamless operations.
  • Review production requirements and specifications to identify and avoid or resolve production issues.
  • Plan production meetings, production activities, team schedules, and machine maintenance schedules.
  • Manage and monitor team members to achieve daily production targets.
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend training where necessary.
  • Create, cut, and grade patterns where necessary.
  • Ensure fabric and production materials are of good quality.
  • Oversee production process and curtail waste.
  • Ensure that machinists, tailors, finishers, and pattern makers comply with workplace safety standards.
  • Set quality standards and ensure compliance
  • Ensure garments are finished to meet client company specifications.
  • Stay abreast of the latest fashion trends & construction techniques.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in the fashion industry.
  • Certification in pattern making.
  • Professional certification in fashion is a plus.

Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 monthly.
