Job Summary

  • We require the services of an experienced Business Development Manager with a large portfolio of clients who will be responsible for bringing businesses, identifying sales leads, pitching for new clients and maintaining a good working relationship with old and new contacts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a good working relationship with old and new contacts.
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections.
  • Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels.
  • Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies.
  • Preparing financial projections and sales targets.
  • Producing reports for management.
  • Cold calling and booking appointments.
  • Planning, preparing and making presentations to clients.
  • Increasing value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Developing goals and targets for sales and business development team and leading business growth and ensuring they are met.

Qualifications / Skills and Competencies

  • Candidates should posses a B.Sc qualification with over four (4) years work experience.
  • A drive to seek new business, sales and marketing skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English Language.
  • Friendly, warm and compassionate personality.
  • Proficiency in word structure and composition.
  • Initiative and good decision-making skills.
