Sunbeth Global Concept Limited is a trading company specializing in the exportation of raw cocoa beans and cashew from Nigeria. Although established in August 2017, the company has deep roots in the cocoa industry as it emanated from Sunny Owoh Ventures Nigeria Limited, a long-standing cocoa sourcing company with over 20 years of business activities in Ondo-State, Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Financial Reporting & Control

Location: Ondo

Job Summary

• To coordinate the activities of the department by ensuring that best practice is adopted in transactions processing, ensure the integrity of postings, manages compliance with all statutory requirements and production of reports.

Job Description

• Tax management and other statutory requirement
• General ledger management
• Budgeting and budgetary control
• Month end closing and consolidation
• Fixed asset management
• Reporting and analysis
• Payroll management
• Champion Cost reduction/cost control
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile ledgers whilst producing error free reports
• Perform any other ad-hoc account-related tasks as per assigned

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting
• 4 years and above relevant experience
• Established working knowledge of accounting packages
• In depth understanding of GAAP and IFRS
• Awareness of business trends and ability to forecast using past accounting reports
• Experience with General ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft packages
• Good ability to maintain accuracy when dealing with numbers.
