Job Title: Head, Human Resources

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Position

  • We are looking for a head, human resources to give strategic direction and management to the business, through recommendation and implementation of human capital and ensure effectiveness in attracting, managing, developing, motivating and retaining top quality employees who will in turn drive and achieve planned business outcomes through the shared service business model across the Group.

Job Description

  • Ensure consistent supply of high caliber staff to fill jobs positions across the business.
  • Ensure delivery of prioritized, tailored and focused HR interventions that add value and meet business objectives.
  • Development of training, training programs and training budgets.
  • Charged with developing and providing guidance to Company’s Executive Management in the implementation of effective succession planning system and supporting processes.
  • Preparation and management of the HR budgets, payroll and performance, compensation and benefits programs evaluation systems.
  • Advise management on work and industrial matters, and employee personal problems.
  • Explain personnel policies, benefits, and other procedures to employees as required.
  • Ensure adequate and effective utilization of human resources.
  • Assisting in the development of programs and policies on compensation and benefits, employee relations, staffing, safety, labor relations, and employment records
  • Manage the personnel database, Employee grievance resolution and implementation of disciplinary procedures/measures.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsible for planning, assigning and directing work; addressing staff complaints and resolving problems

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (Second class Upper) in Industrial relations, sociology, Human Resource management or any other related field.
  • Experience of 7-10 years in a similar role is required.
  • Master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • Should be certified professionally.
