Job Title: Group Head, Finance & Strategy

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and communication of timely, accurate, and useful financial and management reports for investors and/or lending institutions and management on a periodic/adhoc basis.
• Handle the prompt administration of monthly payrolls, staff allowances and benefits and oversees tax remittance, payment of insurance premiums and other statutory fees.
• Coordinate valuations by the appointed values and ensure proper and detailed screening of investment applications to determine their accurate valuation.
• Oversee investment due diligence alongside the documentation of the due diligence (including review of contracts, preparation of budgets, gathering of consultants) process and detailed screening of investment applications to determine their accurate valuation.
• Provide up-to-date information on the financial market’s activities, latest economic trends in the country in order to rightly position the company in the local and global market

Job Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or any related fields (with a minimum of a Second Class Upper Degree).
• At least 6 years post-graduate finance / banking experience, gained mainly within a Leveraged Finance context or professional services environment.
• Certified Financial Analyst certification or CFA Level II assessment passed.
• Associate member of any professional accounting body (ICAN, ACCA, CIS, etc.)
• Master’s Degree in Finance or MBA, will be preferred.
• Experience in Valuation of a top tier consulting firm is an added advantage
