Moyosola Olalekan Outsourcing Services - Our client, a Female Fashion Topnotch Factory that offers assistance with sketches, illustrations, patterns and grading, samples, tech packs, design, fabric and trim sourcing, and production including cutting & bundling as well as cut & sew production based in Lekki, Lagos State.

Job Title: Quality Control Officer

Job Summary
- Quality Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring production standard are achieved, recommend adjustments to the assembly and production process. Inspect, test, and measure materials or products being produced in the factory. Knowledge of Designing SOPs is a must.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a process quality measurement and recording quality.
- Monitor the quality of the product through the various stages of production.
- Devise ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality goods
- Keep accurate documentation and prepare quality assurance reports
- Set requirements for all materials from suppliers and monitor their compliance
- Audit all inward fabric and trims and ensure that only top quality materials are accepted.
- Prepare audit report of the fabric and trims quality.
- Ensure that no faulty fabric is sent for cutting
- Ensure that all samples in the sampling stage meet the quality aspects of samples
- Oversee product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards
- Perform in-line inspection and end-of-line inspection on the sewing floor.
- Perform inline inspection, pre-final audit and final inspection in finishing department.
- Implement preventive and remedial measures against occurrence of defects
- Prepare a quality manual for the company and ensure that quality policies & procedures are known to all and implemented at all levels
- Establish guidelines for production and preparatory processes to get right first-time quality from each process.
- Inspect the final outputs from the luxury and production lines comparing it to the requirements and approve or reject the final products
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines
Skills and Requirements
- Qualifications: BSc / HND in a Science field is required.
- Experience: 2-3 years experience in a female fashion industry and designing of SOPs.
- Previous experience in production or manufacturing company
- Knowledge of process improvement practices
- Strong observational and listening skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Organization and attention to detail.
Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
