Job Summary
- The Lawyer will be responsible for providing counsel and representing the company in legal matters and disputes as relates to investment and property law in Nigeria.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents
- Strategically counsel clients and potential clients
- Identify legal or contractual issues
- Provide legal advice to senior management regarding various corporate and business matters
- Remain current on federal and state laws, regulations, and practices affecting the company business
- Manage relationships and collaborate with co-counsel
Skills and Requirements
- Qualifications: Degree in Law
- Experience: 3 years of experience at a law firm and in investment and property law
- License to practice law
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent business judgment and high level of professionalism
- Excellent time management and organizational skill.
