Distribution Assistant at the Bible Society of Nigeria

The Bible Society of Nigeria is a member of the United Bible Societies (UBS), a global fellowship of Non-Denominational Christian organization whose primary mission involves translating the Holy Scriptures into languages people can read and understand as well as production and distribution of the scriptures in various forms to meet the different needs of people. It also organizes life transforming programmes to engage people with the scriptures and raising of funds for its activities.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Distribution Assistant

Location: Lagos Mainland,Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Territorial Distribution Officer (TDO) Lagos in his distribution drive covering the assigned locations.
• Ensure requisition for the daily distribution is attended to with the TDO’s guidance promptly.
• Ensure accurate returns of the previous day distribution exercise.
• Ensure right and correct delivery of Bibles to customers.
• Assist in developing market along with the TDO.

Personnel Specification

• Must be a School Certificate holder with at least five credit passes including English and Mathematics at not more than a sitting.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Financial Integrity
• Computer literacy is a must with sound IT knowledge.
• Good numerical and customer relation skills.
• Communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
