Job Title: Food Production Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate is responsible for ensuring that food items are prepared in accordance with production plans, as well as assigning and coordinating work to promote the efficiency of operations. He is also responsible for the sanitation of the facility and maintaining personal safety, by conforming to all standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise in food preparation and ensure proper portions and any special dietary requirements are fulfilled.
• Ensure that all kitchen production tools and equipment are returned to their designated secure area.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and sanitation schedules
• Assist in conducting inventory, properly receiving, and storing food and food related items.
• Requisition orders as needed for approval.
• Follows the Company’s Standard of Operation for food handling and storage.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess an OND qualification
• Must have a food science educational background.
• Previous supervisory experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to exercise good judgment and tact
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and policies.
• Be willing to work a night shift.
