Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

The Management of Hobark International Limited, an integrated Energy Services providing company, in collaboration with the Nigerian Content Development and Management Board (NCDMB), wishes to fill the position below:

Job Title: Marine Expert

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

• The interested candidate must have the relevant professional experience needed to ensure that all marine operations are conducted in an environmentally safe manner, consistent with industry standards (MARPOL, SOLAS, ISGOTT, OCIMF etc.), and ensure procedures for all export tanker operations and marine vessel operations are adhered to.

Relevant Qualifications / Experience

• The suitably, qualified candidate should possess a Class 1 (Master Mariner) Certificate of Competency, DCE (Dangerous Cargo Endorsement) in Petroleum preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Ship Captain, Marine Superintendent or Mooring/Loading Master, with relevant Oil & Gas terminal experience.
