Role Overview

  • The Human Resources Business Partner is a strategic role that supports designated client population in ensuring human resource delivery is fully aligned to business goals.
  • This role works closely with line management and the Head of Human Resources to drive the implementation of HR strategy across the business.

Responsibilities
Essential responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

  • Driving day to day HR operations for efficiency and alignment to business goals.
  • Collaboration with line management to create a high-performance culture by implementing team and organization design solutions, providing measurable performance indicators and improvement plans.
  • Utilizing the talent development process and tools in order to provide and develop a diverse talent pipeline for both the short and medium-term needs of the company.
  • Implementing and driving organizational development initiatives to support enhanced organizational effectiveness within the business.
  • Collecting and tracking human Resources/ organisation effectiveness metrics across the entire HR life cycle.
  • Managing effective employee & industrial relations with the business calling on knowledge of the labour laws and consequent impact on the organization, relationships with unions, government/regulatory bodies, community, etc.).
  • Interfacing with the HR Shared Services team for the delivery of core HR services to the business while monitoring the quality and timeliness of service provision.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and security regulations and policies.

Essential Qualifications

  • Membership of relevant professional body.
  • Minimum of six (6) years experience in human resources with three (3) as a HRBP.
  • Experience in an expertise role (Talent management / Performance / Learning, Organizational Development) would be an added advantage.
