Job Title: Online Marketing and Business Development Manager

Job Description
  • As Marketing and Business Development Manager, you will be an integral part of a small, entrepreneurial team in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
  • Through market research and continuous testing, you will develop and implement forward-thinking, creative marketing strategies aimed at generating leads, growing sales, and driving revenue.
  • From addressing broad questions of brand positioning to the daily management of social media and other channels, you are constantly seeking new ways to raise awareness about the brand and convert leads to loyal customers.
  • You will also assist the founder and CEO with partnership development and serve as the primary point of contact for external promotions and marketing partnerships.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to help inform consumer-facing design, communication, and product strategy.
  • Manage paid marketing channels and lead-generation efforts, i.e. Google AdWords, Facebook Ad Exchange, content syndication platforms, and email acquisition partnerships.
  • Manage email marketing programs and campaigns, including design, testing, tracking, and analysis.
  • Execute an up-to-date social media strategy across multiple platforms simultaneously.
  • Develop content marketing strategy around SEO, syndication, social sharing, and customer loyalty.
  • Support public relations efforts: liaise with PR professionals, conduct blogger and media outreach, and write press materials as needed.
  • Cultivate and manage partnership marketing opportunities: wholesale promotions, content-sharing opportunities, affiliate programs, and strategic firm outreach.
  • Assist CEO/founder with B2B development strategy and outreach and collaborate with product and technology team members to launch seasonal promotions and site enhancements and evaluate new opportunities.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • University Graduate from a reputable University.
  • 1 to 2 years of online experience (while experience in online marketing is a major advantage).
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter and creative thinker with excellent strategy and marketing instincts.
  • Strong verbal and written communicator.
  • Strong interest in growing a business from the ground up and gaining startup experience.
Remuneration
Attractive Pay Plus Commission
