Job Title: Field Engineer - Commissioning Engineer
Location: Offshore

Functionally reports to: Construction Manager/Engineering & Operation Manager
Contract Type: Fixed term of Six (6) Months (renewable)
Job Description
- We are looking to engage a Field Engineer, who will Manage the interface between Engineering and Construction as to technical problems arising during construction mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases, by providing adequate technical support.
- This application will take approximately 8 minutes to complete.
- Verify congruity and competencies detail and construction engineering with a view to the execution phase;
- Cooperate with the Commissioning Manager in the commissioning engineering preparation phase and to technically support this activity in the execution phase.
- Provide technical support to Construction Supervisors in the technical analysis of project documents and in the solution - either directly or through the Engineering Service assistance -of technical issues arising during the construction, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases;
- Implement, after the Project Engineering Manager's approval, engineering changes and update project documents (red mark-up) both in progress and final;
- Play a coordination role in solving technical problems onsite; he notifies the event to the PEM and cooperates with him in finding the right solution, resorting to his direct knowledge of any possible aspects and impacts on construction;
- Support the CM and EM in the drawing up of contract specifications for erection activities;
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering and Master's Degree in Engineering ;
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of the major engineering and design software;
- Strong experience to manage a large workforce with diverse backgrounds, and maintain relationship with various stakeholders, including third-party contractors and JV partners;
- 8+ years experience in Field Management for large/medium EPC projects;
- 10+ years of experience in Oil and Gas Companies.
