Job Title: Learning and Development Lead

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• This role will primarily report to the Human Resource Manager. As a Learning and Development Lead your primary responsibility will be to build a dynamic function that supports goal of Ultimcred becoming a learning organization.
• This is a high-performing job requiring collaboration with teams across the business to manage and deliver appropriate learning interventions.
• The ability to be innovative and creative in delivering learning solutions is essential. You will be managing an intergenerational audience.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute learning strategies and programs
• Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
• Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
• Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
• Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
• Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
• Track budgets and negotiate contracts
• Hire and oversee training and L&D Specialists.

Requirements & Skills

• BSc / BA in Business, Psychology or a related field
• 3 - 5 years work experience. 
• Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manageror similar
• Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
• Experience in project management and budgeting
• Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
• Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
• Professional certification (e.g. CPLP) is a plus.

Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 monthly.
