We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

What Will You Be Doing

  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing and potential markets.
  • Build and manage a deal pipeline of well-diversified leads that’ll continuously generate sales and ensure revenue targets are achieved
  • Seek out the appropriate contact for partnerships and generate leads and cold call prospective partners.
  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients and partners
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Collaborate with senior management in the development and implementation of sales plans and activity objectives.
  • Analyse industry activity and develop business plans for specific market segments and assigned accounts.
  • Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
  • Have a good understanding of the business's products or services and be able to advise others about them
  • Ensure staff are on board throughout the organisation and understand the need for change and what is required of them
  • Seek ways of improving the business marketing and business development operations.
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the digital and technology business world.
  • Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases using approved guidelines
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management
  • Identify opportunities outside of Studio 14’s core products and clients.
  • Negotiate and manage contract renewal processes, work with business owners to define needs/ ensure costs are appropriate and working alongside the legal team to get contracts executed
  • Develop the business sales and marketing strategy.
  • Ensure that the business meets its growth and sales targets.

Requirements
What You Will Bring Along:

  • 3 years’ work experience comprising: Business Development experience in a digital agency, Tech product company or related industry and tangible experience with B2B marketing.
  • Candidates must have at least 2 years Sales and partnership experience and can handle high level sales of Digital Tech Products and services.

What Will You Need To Have:

  • Proven experience in B2B and B2C marketing
  • Proven record of developing and implementing effective business development strategies
  • Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen.
  • Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients and business partners
  • Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills
  • IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets and PowerPoints
  • A collaborative approach to work
  • Decision-making skills
  • Negotiating skills.

Salary
N400,000 - N45,000 / month.
