Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Ideal professional is responsible for performing all aspects of financial management, financial planning, corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, reviewing financial documents to ensure tax-compliance and collaboration with all aspects of the business to achieve the organization's monetary goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
  • Develop and provide timely, accurate, and appropriate financial statements and reports.
  • Create and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, tax management, accounts payable and receivable, credit controls, and petty cash.
  • Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.
  • Budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies.
  • Preparation of CBN returns.
  • Other responsibilities assigned by the CFO and/or supervising personnel.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc Degree in Accounting or related courses
  • Previous experience in 5 - 7 years of experience in a Microfinance bank will be preferred.
  • Professional certification ( ACA, ACCA, ICAN) is required.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics.
