Job Title: QA / QC Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• QA /QC Mechanical Engineer work under general direction, applying their skills and expertise to generate solutions that require development of improved techniques, procedures, or products.
• Responsibilities include assisting with planning, conducting, and evaluating approaches to meet project objectives in a timely, cost-effective function

Principal Accountabilities:

• Prepare QA/QC plans for new construction and refurbishment work.
• Ensure the establishment of quality procedures including time limits for inspection, sampling and testing of works and other QA/QC requirements.
• Oversee and manage quality assessment of materials through regular and rigid laboratory tests
• Analyze specifications and manuals and provide technical information to implement operating procedures, clarify ambiguities, and solve problems
• Specify system components to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
• Respond to emergencies and take remedial action as required to ensure health, safety and the environment are protected.
• Assist senior management team in preparing sub contract agreements and in recruiting people of various disciplines
• Prepare Final QA/ QC dossier to submit to the client.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
• Proven 5 years of working experience in QA/QC Engineering.
• Relevant Work Experience in Construction.
