Job Title: Accounts Executive

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

• Creating and implementing financial policies, procedures and internal controls in support of business operations.
• Planning financial budgets to increase the operational efficiency of the organization.
• Monitor cash flow of the organization by monitoring income, expenditure, and investments.
• Maintain receipts and records for all the business transactions.
• Overseeing financial and accounting processes to ensure compliance with Corporate and local policies and statutory requirements.
• aintain ethical standards with unyielding integrity.
• Preparing financial reports and evaluating them to optimize resources.
• Preparing balance sheet, invoices, etc.
• Monitoring transactions, identifying irregularities in invoices, monitor bank deposits and payments, etc.
• Identifying areas of cost-reduction to maximize profit.
• Assisting the managerial team in budgeting, taxes, and investments.
• Supervising a team of accountants and finance clerks.
• Monitor the economic and financial changes.
• Implement financial controls and develop financial management mechanisms to minimize financial risk. Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Oversee annual audits and Liaising with auditors to ensure that audit is carried out effectively.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, ethical standards, and the internal management policies.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
• Minimum of 4 years work experience.
