Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Nyanya, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• Our client is seeking to hire an experienced Junior Accountant to act as support to the Account Department while working with professionals in handling our company’s finances.

Responsibilities

• Maintains adequate records of all company’s transactions and ensures that transactions are posted daily / weekly (i.e. local banking transactions, receipts, cheque payments, petty cash transactions).
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
• Prepares a schedule of monthly fee notes and clients’ payment status
• Examine all account books for efficiency and accuracy
• Acts as an interface between the company and its bankers
• Assist the senior accountant in reviewing of expenses, payroll records
• Maintain proper inventory of company’s assets through fixed Asset Register

Job Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 1 - 3 years working Experience as an accountant
• Good attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Salary
N70,000 / month.
