Job Title: Club Director


Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description
  • Implements general policies established by the Board of Directors; directs their administration and execution.
  • Coordinates the development of the club's long-range and annual plans.
  • Develops, maintains and administers a sound organizational plan; initiates improvements as necessary.
  • Coordinates development of operating and capital budgets according to the budget calendar; monitors monthly and other financial statements for the club; takes effective corrective action as required.
  • Consistently ensures that the club is operated in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws.
  • Coordinates the marketing and membership relations programs to promote the club’s services and facilities to potential and present members.
  • Reviews and initiates programs to provide members with a variety of events
  • Develops, maintains and disseminates a basic management philosophy to guide all club personnel toward optimal operating results, employee morale and member satisfaction.
  • Coordinates as necessary arrangements for public functions and social gatherings including seating according to protocol and special courtesies extended to members and guests
  • Directs the writing and publishing of the club newsletter and plans for intra-club public relations.
Qualification and Experiences
  • Knowledge of program and project management
  • Experience in a management role, with demonstrated ability to plan and budget effectively, provide accurate reporting and statistical analysis of campaigns, and efficiently coordinate multiple projects.
  • Ability to effectively lead, manage and motivate staff, ensuring high performance and ethical standards and adherence to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the proven ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail, with experience in using the internet.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word) is essential.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, eg. Marketing, extensive marketing experience, ideally in promoting fundraising or sales or other financial initiative, would be well regarded.
Remuneration
Salary: NGN 70,000
