Job Title: Air Conditioning Technician

Job Description
- Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Carry out warranty services and emerging repairs.
- Inspect and maintain refrigerators and ice machines.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce down time.
- Maintain all cooling systems to reduce down time.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with occupational health and safety.
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and safety requirements.
- Perform regular work on cooling units.
- Install, maintain and repair indoor air cooling units.
- Act promptly on work orders that relate to your area of work and file them.
- Report all faults verbally and in writing to your supervisor.
- Test systems for proper functioning and performing emergency repairs.
- Record data when inspecting systems, such as temperature of equipment, fuel consumption and hours of operation.
- Setting up canopies for events when the need arises.
- Minor repairs on water systems (Bathroom showers, Taps, Toilet etc.)
- General walk around routine check-list especially on cooling systems etc.
Requirements
- Technical College / OND (Electrical/Electronic Engineering) / Trade Test I, II & III.
- Minimum five (5) years experience as an Air Conditioning Technician.
- Highly skilled, energetic and familiar with best practices.
- Good hands-on practical experience in installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and with minimal supervision.
