We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer (Real Estate)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• To keep daily record of materials received and disbursed.
• Compile reports on various aspects of changes in inventory
• Keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location
• To exercise general control over all activities within the stores
• To ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials.
• To maintain proper records and reports daily opening and closing stock to the Inventory Officer/Logistics Officer.
• To initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.
• To initiate action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level approaches the maximum limit.
• To check and receive purchased materials forwarded by the receiving department and to arrange for the storage in appropriate places.

Qualifications and Background

• OND in Quantity Surveying .
• 2 - 3 years relevant work experience.
• Practical experience in the Real Estate Industry
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time
• Well-developed negotiation skills
• Good attention to detail
• Sound knowledge of the construction industry
• Good command of written and spoken English.
