College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Obohia-Ndoki, was conceived as a dynamic agent of change in this part of the world. We have continually witnessed the increasing need for quality health care services development in the world in recent years, this has brought about the need for a World Class College of Nursing and Health Sciences which will trained and certify qualified Nurses, Midwives, Public Health Nurses, and all other related Health Science Professionals.

This Institution is the first of it's kind in Abia State and indeed the entire East of the Niger. The main aim of this project is to key into the Federal Government idea of the moving Nursing Education into Colleges of Nursing in Collaboration with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). This is to ensure that Nursing and Midwifery Education in Nigeria evolve in line with the National Policy on Education and the contemporary system of Education in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Registrar

Location: Obohia, Abia

Job Description

• The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the College and responsible to the Provost for the day-to-day discharge of his or her duties.
• The Registrar is a Principal Officer of the College and custodian of the College Regulations.

Job Requirements

• Applicants must possess a good honours Degree (Minimum of Second Class Lower) from any of the recognized Universities by the Governing Council of the College, with at least 10 years cognate experience.
• Candidates must demonstrate evidence of strong academic and administrative leadership, good human relations and positive management attributes.
• They shall be of proven personality, integrity and transparency in private and public life; should command respect as well as attract cooperation and loyalty of staff and students.

Terms of Appointment

• All appointment will be on full time and salary negotiable.
• The Condition of Service are as contained in the staff Condition of Service.
