We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Audit Manager
Location: Nigeria
Key Job Roles
- Achieve set targets by collecting and analyzing data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, management policies and budget implementation and monitoring.
- Inspect account books and accounting systems to curtail misappropriation of cash and goods, manipulation of accounts or falsification of accounts.
- Ensure that allocated financial resources are adequately utilized by verifying the authenticity and validity of all transactions.
- Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained for departmental or cross departmental financial expenditures and budget allocation by verifying whether the approvals are in compliance with organizational policies.
- Inspect cash on hand, notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities and cancelled checks to confirm records are accurate.
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
- Evaluate audit findings and determine cost effective solutions and process improvements for recommendation to management.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum Educational Requirement: B.Sc/Msc
- Discipline (Academic Qualification): Accounting, Finance, Audit, Economics
- Professional Qualification: ACA/ACCA
Minimum Relevant Work Experience:
- No of Years: 3 - 5
- Industry Required For the Work Experience:Audit, Finance, Accounting, QSR.
Required Competency and Work Skills:
- Applicants must have; Good oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to think rationally and logically, must be highly organized strategic planner and also have strong IT literacy.
