SPNS Consulting is wholly owned by its management team and members of staff. In September 2004, the management team decided to place special focus on three inter related business lines directing its core focus on Business Process Design & Management, Corporate Strategy Development, Training and Human Capital Development.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: General Manager - Quick Service Restaurant

Location:

Key Job Roles
  • Achieve the overall set targets for the QSR by pro-actively contributing to the formulation, direction and implementation of the strategy for the restaurants and outlets.
  • Achieve the overall set targets for the QSR by tracking sales, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, ensuring the functionality of all kitchen equipment, handling customer concerns, and implementing strategies pertaining to marketing, increased profitability, and employee retention.
  • Achieve the overall set targets for the QSR by planning and working according to budgets, maximizing profits and achieving sales targets set by the Head office, controlling takings in the restaurant, administering payrolls etc.
  • Achieve the overall set targets for the QSR by developing and executing a business plan (key elements to include: fiscal responsibilities, manpower planning and local restaurant marketing) for the restaurants and to effectively implement this business plan, the GM will communicate it to his employees, delegate and following up appropriately.
Educational Requirement
  • Educational Requirement: B.Sc / M.Sc
  • Actual Educational Qualification
  • Discipline (Academic Qualification): Food Science Technology, Business Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management
  • Professional Qualification
Minimum Relevant Work Experience:
  • Number of Years: 5 - 7
  • Industry Required For The Work Experience: FMCG, QSR, any relevant job title/position occupied in previous employment
Required Competency and Work Skills:
  • Proven leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Sound financial, budgeting and stock taking skills.
  • Ability to lead and develop a high performing restaurant team.
  • Ability to drive initiatives to increase sales and profits.
