Job Title: Aesthetician

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Duties / Description

  • Provide expert skincare consultation to customers
  • Examine customer’s skin and make appropriate product and routine recommendations
  • Study different skin types to evaluate the suitability of treatments
  • Recommend products based on customers skin types and concerns
  • Adhere to product policies pertaining to chemical usage
  • Educate clients on product applications such as home skin care techniques
  • Get feedback about the product from customers.
  • Update all staff about new and existing products and their applications
  • Review and suggest improvements for product performance
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, techniques, and incorporate them into treatments as appropriate.
  • Provide the sales team with appropriate information to sell the product (promotional initiatives)
  • Work with the marketing team to define product description and ingredients for the website

Skills / Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in any Health Science related field.
  • 2-4 years experience as an Aesthetician
  • Advanced knowledge in skin analysis and treatment
  • Adept in product formulation and mixture
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good initiative, time, and stress management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Professional certification is an added advantage
  • Assist the leadership team, ensuring the store is always on target to achieve the set financial targets
  • Monitor team sales targets & other metrics, provide feedback and analysis to the leadership team
  • Manage team and resources to maximize sales, traffic flow, and customer engagement
  • Manage the sales floor with agility, changing direction & continuously improving based on key indicators and lessons learned
  • Lead the team by example in the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Handle all complaints and ensure total customer satisfaction
  • Ensure proper execution of store opening and closing procedures
  • Accurately process all POS transactions, capture of customer information, and inventory functions such as receiving of inventory, transfers, repairs, damages, etc. to maintain the integrity of the inventory
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures with a focus on loss prevention and operational excellence performance indicators
  • Work with the business development executive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Age : 27-35 years
