Job Title: Senior Database Administrator
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- We are looking for a highly skilled database administrator with a minimum of 5 years experience in Database Administration for immediate employment.
- In this role, you will have the opportunity and freedom to innovate and play a major role in our customer-centric agenda.
Responsibilities
- Plan, Install and configure database software on Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Monitor and tune performance of databases.
- Perform backup and recovery in line with RTO and RPO.
- Implement and manage High Availability of databases.
- Plan and monitor capacity of databases.
- Perform troubleshooting of databases as needed.
Qualifications
- B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering or numerate sciences, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in Oracle, MSSQL databases. Knowledge of Mysql, PostgreSQL database a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in database management.
