Nigeria French Language Village - Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position at the Nigeria French Language Village, Badagry, Lagos State. The Nigeria French Language Village is an inter-University Centre for French Studies, established by the Federal Government of Nigeria to cater primarily for the Language Immersion Programme of undergraduates of French in Nigerian tertiary institutions. It is an autonomous institution under the ambit of the National Universities Commission (NUC).

We are recruiting to fill the below position:

Requirement/
Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a Ph.D in French Linguistics in Grammar, Phonetics, Translation and Communication.
  • Plus or Masters Degree in same field with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
  • Evidence of registration into the Ph.D programm.

Condition of Service
The salary and conditions of service for the lecturer shall be in accordance with what obtains in the Nigerian University system and in the inter-university centers in particular.

  • Names and address of Three (3) referees who should be advised to send their reference on their behalf direct to the Registrar of the Village.
  • Proposed date of availability for duties, if appointed.
