We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

  • Ensure that property is properly maintained and optimized
  • Provide proactive and reactive maintenance of property. Includes scheduling of regular servicing to generators and other equipment.
  • Carry out regular inspections to ensure property is kept in a healthy, safe and functional state. Includes identification and elimination of potential safety hazards and mitigation of risks. Also ensure occupant compliance to safety and security protocols
  • Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds, and security
  • Overseeing refurbishments and renovations.
  • Ensure all equipment are in working order and good condition
  • Responsible for office systems (office and IT equipment)
  • Supervise maintenance technicians/artisans
  • Ensure compliance with company or government regulations;
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensuring a constant security presence.
  • Managing parking facilities and ensuring space.
  • Undertaking building and grounds maintenance.
  • Managing waste disposal systems
  • Managing janitorial duties.
  • Manage budgets, keeping expense records
  • Drafting reports and making written recommendations.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification with 2 - 4 years work experience.

Competence:

  • Good oral and written communication skills (English).
  • Good customer/client management skills
  • Technical knowledge of building services
  • Analytic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to nurture effective professional relationships with vendors, suppliers, artisans and occupants
  • Professional demeanor and attitude
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards
  • Budgeting skills.
