Job Title: Human Resource Officer
Location: Nigeria
Responsibilities
The candidate must be able to perform the following functions:
- Assist in all recruitment exercise and ensure proper documentations
- Conducts preliminary interview for junior applicants and recommend same to Human Resource Manager as appropriate.
- Monitor staff attendance and responsiveness to organizational culture
- Process staff requests and advise Managements approval
- Coordinates all staff training activities
- Maintains and update HR records and progress reports for junior and senior staff for the purpose of confirmation, upgrading, promotion and discipline.
- Undertakes investigations of references provided by applicants
- Maintains update of staff list
- Coordinates performance appraisal exercise
- Ensure strict adherence to company procedures and rule
- Ensure proper and regular maintenance of all company vehicles and office equipment
- Ensure proper functioning of utilities e. g. telephone, electricity and maintain regular touch with appropriate authorities
Qualifications
- The candidate for this position must possess 5-8 years working experience in a related function and a first Degree in any field.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and a Post graduate degree will be an added advantage.
