Project Finance Analyst at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA)

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Position: Project Finance Analyst

Ref: IITA-HR-NRS2023-008
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Recruitment Type: National (3-year renewable contract
Contract: 3-year renewable contract

Duties

• Prepare monthly error free project report to donors.
• Coordinate assigned project external audits during the year.
• Ensure timely budget upload into the system.
• Support the institution’s cash and receivable management.
• Support the institute annual audit with relevant schedules and respond to audit queries.
• Prepare monthly end budget monitoring report.
• Ensure timely justification of partners’ financial reports.
• Support the Project Finance Manager with relevant analysis for decision making.
• Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• BSc / HND in Accounting or related field with a minimum of six (6) years experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment, possession of ICAN/ACCA would be an added advantage.

The ideal candidate must:

• Have strong analytical mind, and be good with computer application especially Oracle application.
• Have a very pleasant personality, good team player, honest and good command of both written and oral English.
