Job Description
- Work with clients to understand brief determine initial goals and requirements for the space to be designed
- Create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces, by assessing space requirements.
- Determine the best furniture placement, and select decorative items, while adhering to relevant building code.
- Prepare sketches or other visual aids to present designs to client.
- Consult with client to select materials, furnishings, and décor
- Discuss designs with clients for approval and production.
- Prepare detailed drawings for production.
- Follow design trends and developments.
- Study, research and plan various styles of furniture design.
- Prepare product prices and job quotation
Skills / Requirements
- B.Sc. in Architecture, Fine Arts or any relevant fields.
- Must be an expert in graphic design and video capturing
- Must be proficient in use of CAD software. Creating sketches and drawings of new designs using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3dsmax, Revit, Archi cad
- Must have good creative ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work for long hours
- Physically fit to lift up to 15lbs when necessary
- Must be able to distinguish between colors
- Must be attentive to detail
- Must have excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
