Jaykay Group is a Manufacturing company that specializes in the production of carpets, rugs, Mosque runners, artificial grass, etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resource Officer

Location: Sharada Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
• Provide counseling on policies and procedures
• Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
• Prepare weekly and monthly administrative reports.
• Assist in performance management processes
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
• Maintain employee records (attendance, appraisals etc.) according to policyrequirements
• Manage the casual employees (orientation, performance, attendance, wages, discipline and complaints)
• Updating staff data and company policies periodically and according to legal standards

Requirements and Skills

• B.Sc / BA in Business Administration, Social Studies or relevant field with 3-5 years experience
• Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
• Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
• Proficient in MS Offices
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
• Strong ethics and reliability
• HR Credentials is an added advantage
• Female candidate is preferred.
• Must be a resident of Kano.
