Graphics Designer and Video Editor at Prime Progress Media

Prime Progress is a solutions-focused media outlet documenting how people are solving social problems in Nigeria. We also investigate repressive cultural, religious and societal practices that hold people down and prevent them from fulfilling their dreams and becoming healthier and happier. We produce deep analysis on the social issues and help the audience understand issues beyond the surface.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Graphics Designer and Video Editor

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Work with the social media manager and editor to design graphics for social media and website use.
• Edit video stories when they are needed
• Suggest design ideas that could spark audience engagement and interactions.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / BA / HND / OND qualification with 3 - 4 years work experience.
• Excellent video editing and graphics design skills
• Ability to use effective video and design tools like Photoshop, Premier Pro and others.
• Must have at least two years of experience as video editor and graphics designer.
