Warehouse In-Charge at Apple and Pears Limited - Enugu and Oyo

Apple & Pears Limited was incorporated in the year 2012 as an Agro-Allied & food industry to produce soya meal, concentrate and finished feed for the poultry, and refined edible oil, mayonnaise, ketchup, salad cream, vinegar, and custard powder for the Nigerian market.

The company has invested millions of dollars in land, building, construction of infrastructural facilities and machinery, with one goal in mind and that is to have an integrated facility encompassing the complete value chain of the soya bean business, from sourcing, processing, and extraction to the packaging and distribution of a wide range of soya products.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Warehouse - In-charge

Locations: Enugu and Ibadan - Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversees the storage arrangement and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Coordinates the day-to-day receiving and supplying of products in the warehouse
• Ensure that tally 9 stock figures are fully up to date and frequently cross-checks numbers against actuals to pressure test the system
• prepares GRN and Bin cards and ensures that iterms are located in the correct area and tagged appropraitely, including sellable stock, returned goods, quarantined iterms, and expired goods.
• Carries out the in-house monthly stock-taking
• plays a lead role in the quarterly and yearly stock-takind with the internal or external auditors.
• Prepares new SOPs and reviews existing ones for more efficient functioning of the warehouse

• Prepares monthly reports on short-dated products, stock coverage time to dispatch and other relevant KPIs
• Determines and releases products to be coded by the Coding unit. identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in the warehouse.

Requirements / Knowledge and Skill

• HND or B.Sc. in Supply Chain or other relevant courses
• Good distribution practice storage requirement
• Modern warehouse procedures
• warehouse management
• Methods of proper and orderly storage and issuance of materials
• Basic stock inventory procedures and requisitions
• Computerized warehouse record-keeping systems
• Maintain accurate and electronic record keeping.
